Three renowned Jazz artists come together to share their musical tastes and perform some of their most popular recordings from the Great American Songbook. Vocalist Jonathan Karrant, pianist Joe Alterman and saxophonist Houston Person will take the stage at Scullers on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 for one night only. Jonathan Karrant doesnt cover songs he uncovers them. His most recent album Shadows Fall is currently in the top 10 on the American Community Radio Charts. Jonathans album On and On hit #4 on the Billboard Jazz charts and his album Live hit #2 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. He has received honors throughout the states including; the New York City Cabaret Jazz Honors Best Singer for the Bravo California Awards and was named one of the top 12 rising jazz vocalists by Downbeat. A voice romantic without being cloying, warm but not forced Jonathan carries songs with an emotional weight that reaches your soul. At the same time he can swing with the kind of jazz suave that was patented by Mel Torme.
